When I began this journey, I could not jog very far at all. In fact the reason I got back on the treadmill is because I had gained a lot of weight, and had multiple aches and pains coming from being just unhealthy. Maybe it sounds like an excuse, but a lot of my weight gain had to do with the fact that I was under so much stress.

What is truly amazing is what began to happen to my soul, while I was walking. My mind would clear itself of the clutter, suddenly I could talk to God and even sometimes hear what He had for me for the day. I kept walking and running, timing myself according to the plan - each day getting more confidence, each day getting more clarity. As my running became more and my walking less, something else happened, emotions that were pent up inside of me began to flow out as tears.

I encourage you, don't dwell there in your sickness, don't stay there in your past hurts and grovel around - get up, and get your healthy!
