Through my work and research, I seek to explore how we can improve teaching and learning for all students. By looking internationally at how other countries structure teaching and learning to achieve strong school cultures and high student achievement, we can discover elements that will advance our education system and contribute to school reform efforts. Successful school reform must: 1. Look internationally 2. Consider the U.S. context 3. Implement context appropriate research-based changes
