Kathy Godwin

I’m interested in Higher Education which impacts the professional, educational, and volunteer aspects of my life.

Professionally, I am a data analyst working in the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona for AMERI (Arizona Medical Education Research Intiative)

I have an MA in Higher Education and currently am a PhD student in Higher Education at the University of Arizona. My main interests are access and success often with attention on STEM and transfer. I’ve also been more and more interested in technology along with organization and administration.

My interests in Higher Education and in music lead me to volunteer my time and attention to Tau Beta Sigma. I’m currently serving on the Board of Trustees along with working as the Risk Management Liaison where I focus on working with students regarding hazing, social media reputation, leadership development, and risk awareness.

I will freely admit to my nerdtastic geek status with a BS in Engineering Physics and many other geek leanings.
