In July 2010 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - a rare blood cancer. Since then, I have undergone induction chemotherapy, a clinic trial stem cell transplant, cyberknife radiation therapy, and now maintenance therapy.

While doing all my treatments, I manage to work full time, travel as much a possible, explore all the culinary treats in the DC area, create art, and most importantly, be a good friend and wife.
