Kathy Marks
Kathy Marks is a Walkley award-winning journalist with 30 years’ experience. She began her career at Reuters London and continued to work on Fleet Street for The Independent and The Telegraph. She moved to Australia 15 years ago where she continues to write for The Independent and recently became a correspondent and columnist for the New Zealand Herald. Kathy also writes long-form pieces for Good Weekend and the Griffith Review and is the author of a book on the child abuse that took place on Pitcairn Island. Her corporate clients have included the Human Rights Commission, the Child Abuse Royal Commission, the Australian Council for the Humanities and Telstra.
