I am cellist / composer and multimedia artist living in Duluth. In both live performance and gallery installations, I blend improvisational cello, found sound and abstract, layered, still-motion film. My installations and multimedia performances have appeared regularly both in traditional galleries and concert settings and in nontraditional phantom spaces. I have received funding from the Jerome Foundation, the American Composers Forum, the Minnesota State Arts Board, the Puffin Foundation and the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. My recent work has focused on creating media enclosures for community collaboration with writers, visual artists, dancers and musicians.
