Where did you come from?

I grew up in New Mexico and graduated with a degree in Business/Marketing at Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, I played on the women's golf team and then followed that dream to California to play professional golf. That road led me to the golf-rich Coachella Valley-- and I have been here since 1989. I met my husband, Bob in the desert-- at the Nest-- (another story) and we split time in the desert with time in Pasadena, CA. Shortly after joining La Quinta Country Club in 2000, the Schowes relocated to the desert full time. I began pursuing my Real Estate career and now have been working in the Real Estate field for over 5 years. What do you know?

I have lived in the desert area for over 20 years and have been lucky enough to play almost all the golf courses here-- I am an expert at matching a client with a club-- or development. Each community within the valley has its own special niche-- and through years of living the desert life--- I have come to know what each area 'feels' like. Some people are looking for very social clubs with many activities throughout the season... others just want a "golf" club without all the extras. I am having alot of fun embracing the new technologies and cutting edge applications that are changing everyday! Finding new ways to market properties, reach clients, prospect, and sell homes is exciting! I am constantly working to learn and improve my methods in the internet world we live in now... the possibilities are endless and I love it!
