I have interests in both translational and applied psychological research. Specifically, I am interested in the development and evaluation of innovative treatment modalities for people struggling with eating disorders, a psychiatric disorder with the highest mortality rate. Additionally, I am interested in investigating factors that contribute to negative and positve eating disorder treatment outcomes, relapse and sustained recovery.
In addition to my profession, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and animals. I need books like I need oxygen. A big sports and nature enthusiast, I am always ready to go play volleyball, soccer, or go on a hike or run.
