Katie Roberts

Katie Roberts is a multimedia journalist and Emmy-award winning producer with extensive broadcast and web experience. As producer and researcher in the Consumer Unit at NBC Washington, she's conducting interviews in the field, writing and producing stories in the newsroom, handling public relations and viewer correspondences, managing interns, and contributing to NBCWashington.com. She also manages the online presence of veteran Consumer Reporter Liz Crenshaw on Facebook and Twitter. She regularly contributes promotable packages and pieces to News4 at 5pm- the #1 rated afternoon newscast in the #8 market in the country.

Katie graduated from Elon University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and minors in both Business and Spanish. While she was a student, Katie interned in the NBC Washington Consumer Unit, where she would later begin her career. She's is a native Washingtonian, who grew up in Arlington and attended Yorktown High School. When she's not at work, you can find her diving into the local DC food scene and planning trips to visit family across the country.
