Katherine Walter is a senior program specialist with the United States Department of Agriculture. She served in the United States Navy from 1988-1992. She obtained a master's degree in anthropoloogy in 2000. Soon after obtaining her degree she was employed by the Illinois Department of Human Services as a human services caseworker. She has been with the United States Department of Agriculture since 2005. Katherine lives in Eligin, Illinois with her cat.
