As a biochemist and protein engineer I study the structure of HIV-1 capsid protein in hopes of finding new ways to inhibit viral replication. I'm currently a science communications intern and graduate Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland, in the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology program.
