Katie Johnson

I was born in Albany, Georgia on April 23, 1994 but my family moved to Birmingham, Alabama when I was one. My family and I lived there until the summer before 6 grade. This was when we moved to Suwanee, Georgia. This is the place that I have called home ever since and where I have made some of my very best friends. During my free time I love spending time with my friends and family. I am an only child and I don’t have any cousins on either side, so I grew up spending time with the adults my whole life and was always able to see them often, becoming close with most members of my family. I also enjoy shopping, going to sporting events (I’m incredibly competitive), and during the summer going to the lake. My favorite part of the year is during each summer when I go on a one-week camping trip in the Great Smokey Mountains with my dad’s side of the family. This is the part of the year that I always look forward to and has become my favorite place.

Being extremely close to my family, I grew up a Georgia Bulldog. My dad attended school here and I new that there was nowhere else I wanted to attend college. Currently, I am planning on becoming a business major of some sort with a co-major in international business. I knew I wanted to do international business from the beginning because I love to travel and see different places. I would love to someday work at a successful business and work my way up the social ladder and somehow make a difference in the world.
