She is a founding member of the Whitney Museum of Art and sits on Advisory Benefit Committee for the Fresh Air Fund in New York. Katie attended DePaul University in Chicago majoring in Psychology. On a personal level, Ms Currell is a sustainable mental health & brain Injury (TBI) advocate; focused on identifying and educating the community on barriers to a better life patients face post injury & recently completed Harvard's program on Global Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster. In the past 3 years, Ms Currell has been a featured panelist on Procurement forums across the USA.
