Katie Erin McCormick

Hi, I’m Katie Erin. I am a member of the freshman class of 2020. This will be my 6th year at Academy at the Lakes. I have been in the Ambassador Program for five years. I am also a member the varsity swim and track teams, science Olympiad, high school band and the pep band.

When I grow up, I want to be a music teacher. Academy is helping me reach my goal by allowing me to pursue multiple performing opportunities, including playing in the pit orchestra for our All School Musical.

At Academy, I have developed my public speaking skills, found my passion for the arts, and I have been able to accomplish great things in science, including being selected to participate in the state science fair in 8th grade.

I would not have had these opportunities anywhere else. I look forward to sharing more about my Academy experience with you!
