Katie Farrell

Katie Farrell is a second-year undergraduate student in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University and anticipates graduating in May 2018. She is majoring in Accounting and plans on achieving both her bachelor's and master's degrees in order to pursue a career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Katie is from Lubbock, Texas and is also a member of the Honors College at Texas Tech University, which challenges her to participate in more rigorous coursework and become more involved in her university. Katie is an extremely hard-working, motivated, and goal-oriented individual. Her dedication can be exhibited as a result of her receiving the honor of being recorded on the President's List at Texas Tech University in Fall 2014 and Spring 2015 by earning a 4.0 GPA. She also genuinely enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering, which she is able to do frequently through the various organizations of which she is involved, which include Eta Omicron Nu (HON), Alpha Lambda Delta & Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
