I’m Katie Kinney, currently studying Web Development at Seattle Central College. My journey in tech is fueled by my love for creativity and the challenge of building user-friendly, impactful websites. I’m particularly passionate about my current project, Echoes of Hope | BPD, which is dedicated to supporting individuals with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Through this project, I’m combining my advocacy work with the skills I’m developing in web design to create a safe and empowering space for mental health awareness.
When I’m not immersed in coding or working on my website, I’m drawn to the wonders of the universe. I love studying the stars and planets, finding peace and perspective in the cosmos. I’m also an outdoor enthusiast, whether it’s hiking, exploring, or simply being in nature. The balance between my love for learning and my connection to the outdoors keeps me energized and curious.
At home, I’m also the proud mom of Odin, my 10-year-old comedian, chef, and gamer, who fills my days with laughter, creativity, and a sense of adventure.
With a passion for learning and a drive to make a difference, I’m excited about the future and the impact I can make through web development and advocacy.
