Nova Scotia

I am a researcher trained in Anthropology. I am currently working as a research assistant with the Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies at Cape Breton University.

I primarily study minority and Aboriginal issues in Canada. My most recent research has been on Metis identities in Nova Scotia and their search for national recognition.I recently completed my MA at Carleton University and will be starting a Ph.D in Anthropology at Dalhousie University in the fall.

I enjoy coffee, tea and chocolate. I read, write and think too much. The best things in life are family and friends.
