I’m a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill with a partiality for the written word. A journal-keeper turned journalist, I love listening to people and writing stories.

I’m now covering state politics at The News & Observer, reporting on legislative hearings and political campaigns.

As an assistant editor at The Daily Tar Heel, I wrote about gentrification in community neighborhoods, local civil rights history and the police investigation into the death of a UNC student.

As a Pew Research Center intern, I used polling data to write about global religious restrictions, technology in India and the growing number of American children with incarcerated parents.

I love finding a good book everywhere, traveling anywhere and remembering the world through words and photos, from Boston to India to London and back again.
