In 2014 I became CEO of Pink Petro™, the first and only online social platform to be built by the energy industry for women and their advocates. My firm, Cognovi Communications offers strategic change management solutions to the energy and utilities industry and Pink Petro is one of my latest projects to help bring shift into the energy sector. I consult, speak and write for or have been covered by media outlets, worldwide.
My background includes a global career in Shell and BP and prior to that as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies and small ventures. My experience includes divestments, mergers, startups, new market entries, bankruptcy, globalization, and operational and health and safety excellence.
I am a proud mom to Ally, my PreK “Word Engineer” and future STEM graduate, and wife to Mark, who is Associate General Counsel with GE Oil and Gas.
As a native Cajun from South Louisiana, I graduated from LSU in Communications, the Baker Executive Energy Program at Rice University, and the Center for Houston’s Future. I am an Executive Council member of the Ellevate Network , The United Way Women’s Initiative and Women’s Energy Network.
