Katie Pennington

Katie Pennington is a principal at Holland High Schools and has nearly two decades of experience in the education sector. Over the course of her career, which has extended from teaching to ultimately taking on administrative roles, Katie has consistently focused on revitalizing existing coursework and creating new opportunities for students. One of Katie's most well-known accomplishments is the implementation of Middle College in Kenowa Hills Public Schools. Middle College provides a much-needed link between high school and college, saving students money and exposing them to college-level coursework as they continue their high school studies.

Outside of her work in the education sector, Katie is active in community events. She is currently on the Event Committee of West Michigan Armed Forces Thanksgiving. She's also a proud mother of two, so she spends plenty of time at her children's sports games and recreational events in the Grand Rapids area.
