Katie Portman

I'm a 31 year old freelancer specialising in journalism, marketing & PR. Married to Jamie, I also share my home with two daft moggies whom I adore. I love books, high heels, psychology, travel, ancient history and 'letting my hair down'. My favourite food is houmous and my tipple of choice is a good glass of white wine.

Life to me is all about the journey, and I'm determined to make sure my adventure is as full, rich and exciting as possible. I've made plenty of mistakes but don't have regrets, enjoy a good challenge and always try to look on the bright side of life.

I'm friendly, passionate, occasionally firey and often mischevious. I love deeply and care very much for those whom share my life. I hate injustice and cruelty and admire anyone who demonstrates courage or compassion. In the future, I'd like to write a novel and set up a charity. I also hope to become a Mum.

Words are my livelihood and my closest ally and it is through the written word that I express myself best. When my journey is over, whenever that will be, I would simply like to be remembered as someone who really knew how to LIVE, LOVE and LAUGH.
