Katie Putnam was born in central Maine and is currently a senior at Dean College. In the spring of 2016, she will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree. Before Dean College, Katie had her dance training done at Kennebec Dance Centre by Keltie Collins. She then pursued her dance career into college. Katie has been trained in ballet, jazz, tap, modern and contemporary. She also did an internship her junior year at Dean College with Julianne O'Brien Pederson in the Joan Phelps Palladino School of Dance. After graduation, Katie intends to continue her dance studies and to eventually open her own dance store one day.
