My name is Katie Simpson and I’m a senior portrait and wedding photographer in the Memphis and Jackson, TN area! One of my favorite things in the world is to sit down with people over a cup of coffee and hear about their greatest dreams and aspirations. I love cultivating deep relationships and connecting with sweet souls through deep and meaningful conversation. I live for the moment when people’s faces come alive as they share their heart and the things that they are most passionate about.

Nothing makes me feel more alive than when my camera is in my hand, and I am interacting with people. I often drive home from a session when the sun is still going down, and I always am so satisfied. I know that photography is what I was created to do, and I am so grateful for all the sweet people who have helped make my dream a reality.

I adore J.Crew, seersucker, stripes, and monograms, and really really sweet tea! When I’m not at a session, you can find me drinking fresh brewed coffee every morning out of anthropologie cups, or watching Fixer Upper with my little yorkie, Sadie.

As a Type A, I give 100% of myself to everything I do, and my Lilly Pulitzer planner rarely leaves my side. Making lists for everything so I can be organized and prepared is my thing. I believe in dreaming really big, and then chasing after those dreams with every ounce in your body.
