Hello, thank for visiting my page!

I'm a librarian in the UK. I've worked for the same employer for 12 years but in many different roles. The consistent theme in every job that I have done is that people (the public i.e our customers) have been at the heart of it. It was my aspiration right from my first job to work creating opportunities for people through the services we offer. The public library is a fantastic neutral access point and resource for so much information, learning, opportunity, leisure and relaxation .... It's been delivering this and morphing to fit new needs and challenges. My current role is to lead our digital strategy and develop all aspects of our Virtual library.
