Descended of pirates and revolutionaries, I am a lover and student of all things Irish. Born in the States, I am a dual US/Irish citizen, and studied history and politics at University College, Dublin – although, at the time, I seriously considered switching to law, if only so I could attend lectures at the castle on campus.

I live in the American Midwest with my son, two cats and a pesky character in my head named D (but you can call him Dubh).

My first book, Changelings: Into the Mist, a young adult historical fantasy, goes on sale November 11, 2014. I can be found writing with said character weekly at my blog, The D/A Dialogues.
