Kati Thomason

Kati Lee Thomason is a songwriter and publicist with a passion for music and branding. Kati Lee is currently involved in several projects. A local family bluegrass band called Telegram Nation, who pays tribute to the Thomason family's grandmother, and a indi pop duo with Israel Hindman (of The Uglysuit and Tree Giants) The Oceans Club, who is more suited for international waters.

Kati Lee works for uDrive Publicity as a publicist and loves working with new artists. Although a musician and songwriter herself, Kati enjoys the business side of the music industry. Gaining knowledge and insight into one of the most illusive industries on the planet is both extremely challenging and rewarding.

"Art is one thing that will never go out of style," she says, "and if I get nervous about going out on limb I remember Aristotle's quote... "“To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.”― Aristotle.

Most recently, Kati has worked with her fiancé and band mate, Israel Hindman, on recording an albums worth of material over the course of the next year. "We have already completed a couple of tunes for a documentary J.D. Thompson produced for Playboy, believe it or not. It is Playboy's first work in this field, and we are excited to be a part of such journalism."

Seagull's Song, featured in the film, is the duo's first released single. It is available on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music.
