Being open, creative and insightful allow me to have a unique perspective; qualities enhanced by my global experience. My strength and interest is in writing stories in a compelling and human voice even in the most extraordinary of circumstances.

Passion. I am an avid film & television fanatic and enthusiastic supporter of young or diverse voices in the arts. I indulge in photography and love fashion as an expression of art and individuality. For 3 seasons I had a lively and in-depth discussion on ABC's Scandal every weekend after a new episode aired. I got to put my love for writing, analytical thinking and creativity to good use.

Work. I am a statistical scientist with significant experience in the design and analysis of biomedical and observational studies. My primary interest is in improving health and overall well-being in communities within the US and globally. A critical part of my work is in translating data of varied complexity into actionable words relevant in the treatment and prevention of disease.

My collaborative experience include work in Medicine, Public Health, Law and Economics. I also translate published scientific papers into engaging articles for a wider audience.

Community. Educating young minds and encouraging girls to explore science and math careers through mentoring are close to my heart.
