Katrina Jefferson
So Cal
From acting like she was Oprah, and interviewing everyone in her family as a teenager, to choreographing standing ovation worthy dance routines (in high school), Katrina has always been a natural born marketing professional―loving the connection between people and brands. Katrina received her Bachelors of Science from San Francisco State University and attended Spelman College for half of her college career. She began her professional track in Silicon Valley, where she specialized in client management, digital and traditional marketing, and training and development with start-up companies. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she created and managed a client services division at Pathways, a non-profit organization devoted to helping low income families receive child care, and employment assistance. She also started a non-profit tutoring business called SmartAlek, catering to assist low income students in Math, Science, and Reading Comprehension.
Later, Katrina went back to school to receive an Associate degree in Fashion Marketing. She made a smooth transition into the retail space, taking on roles in Digital Marketing for major fashion, beauty, and entertainment houses like GUESS?, Sears Holdings, Zara, Charlie, Ford, Red Bull Media House, and Keurig implementing social media, organic search, events and other digital marketing initiatives. Katrina’s business savvy has propelled her to advise small to mid-size business owners on Social Media and Digital marketing strategies for their digital properties that help make their companies successful. In between having fun with her family, dabbling in the kitchen, networking, learning everything about tech, and staying fit, she devotes her time teaching Entrepreneurship to kids K-12 via her program, SOULED!
