Fashion and running have been my rock throughout college. Fashion allows me to express myself on days when I just can't find the right words. If I'm feeling tired, you'll know, I'll be in workout clothes and an over-sized sweatshirt. Days that I'm feeling cheerful and confident, I dress knowing that I look good. Fashion helps me feel good about who I am and how I look and it reminds me to be myself. Everyone has those days where they just don't feel their best, and to me at least, clothes can help change that. "Fake it 'til you make it" my co-captain always says. If I am just having a bad day, putting on a nice outfit and pretending that I am confident and feeling great can really turn my day around; it's the little things in life.

Running is my escape, without it I'm not sure what I would do with myself. When life is hectic and school is stressful, running is always there to say, "Hey, take a break for a bit and just get it all out...run until you can't anymore." To one day combine these two loves into one would be a fairy tale. Active wear just makes sense to me. I know what the athlete wants, because I know what I would want in a product. To bring apparel to the trails that is both stylish and functional wouldn't even feel like a job to me, it would be a challenge that I would take on each day with excitement. I've always heard that if you work hard enough for what you want, it can happen; I hope this is the truth for me. So let's see where this trail called life takes me.
