Katrina Markel

I'm an Iowa native who has lived in New York City, Los Angeles, Dundee, Scotland and, currently, San Francisco. I am a Managing Editor for LipstickAndPolitics.com, Provisional Pantent Writer for Connected Patents and Manager of Online Content and Social Media for GeneroCity, Inc. I have a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University. My master's thesis was awared Best Student Documentary at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival. Since that time I've been fortunate enough to work for major news organizations, fun tech start-ups and a Scottish game company.
