A short bio

Born in Palo Alto, California, Katrina grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. At 18 she studied in Paris, spending much time in the Pompidou and observing people. She moved back to San Francisco to attend art school. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in 2006, she dispersed her belongings, picked a place on the globe and moved. She landed on Madeira Island where she lived for two years, then moved to Lisbon, Portugal. In 2012 she returned to SF.

Her artwork is influenced by her fascination with the syncopated moments of life; forgotten people, objects and relationships encountered on the way to expected destinations.
