Katriona Quinn

I'm a highly motivated and ambitious student, currently in my final year of college studying for a BA in Journalism and French.

I would define myself as an insatiable news hound with a strong interest in politics and current affairs.

During my time in college, I have gained significant experience in print, broadcast and online journalism. I have been involved with student newspaper 'The Liberty' and student French magazine 'Le Canard Déraciné'. I was Sound Engineer for 'The Forum' in DIT FM 2011 and I am currently working on a radio documentary titled 'Five Flings before Friday'. I completed a Production Assistant Internship in LMFM Radio in summer 2012. I have also written freelance articles for MRU-Music Review Unsigned and various other websites.

I have a passion for literature, history, French culture, cycling and travel.
