Katherina Dewson

Hey there,

My name is Katherina Dewson, but I go by many other names: Katie, Kate, or Katt Dunne :)! I'm a petite girl with absolutely huge dreams. Please make sure to check out my Etsy shop, Facebook fanpage and Wordpress blog.

I am what you may call an entrepreneur of sorts. I run my own Etsy shop selling my fan-art and original works on moleskine journals, pendants, keychains, cards and paintings (make sure you check it out as I also take custom requests!!)

I am a part-time model. I have always loved being in front of the camera and have a real love for taking pictures as well. I am incredibly passionate when it comes to the environment and animal life and since this has always been the case for me, I have recently become intrigued with the idea of highlighting these issues as a journalist and am taking courses for it (you can check out my rants on wordpress).

I have always enjoyed film and been interested in getting into the industry, so I guess it's fair to state that I wish to be a screenwriter as well. I am also signing up for graphic art courses since I blossomed later in life and have found a true love in art. It's been recommended several times and I'm finally going to venture into this crazy, awesome world of art. I also dabble in cosplay and have became so hard core obsessed with it. See? I told you I was a huge dreamer. What can I say? I don't believe in limiting yourself to one dream.

Aside from those parts of my life, it's safe to say that I am a nerd of all trades. I love cartoons, anime especially. I enjoy a good book, normally fantasy but I do settle down sometimes with poignant drama. Film has always been a huge part of my life and I do not really discriminate against any genres, aka I love it all!

I am a true wanderluster and have already had my fair share of travels but will be requiring more adventures. I love, love, LOVE my fur-baby Alice (to the point of having a fanpage for her and her face printed on my cards). I garden lots. Mortal Kombat, Injustice, Donkey Kong and Naruto Ninja Storm are some of my favourite games in the world so yes, I am a gamer. I collect stuffed animals and movies. Have been told I take way too many photos, I just can't help myself when I have a camera in my hand. My family and friends are my rocks in life and I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
