I am very excited to be starting my own law practice specializing in wills, estate planning and income tax - effective January 4, 2012. My goal is to make high quality wills and estate planning available to clients at a reasonable price - everyone deserves to have the peace of mind of a solid, tax-effective estate plan! I practice out of my home in Richmond Hill and am willing to travel to clients within the City of Toronto and York Region. In addition, I offer a free 30 minute consultation to prospective clients. I've been trained by the best - I was an income tax lawyer with a big Bay Street firm for a number of years before having twin boys. In addition, I'm an "approachable" lawyer - no, that's not an oxymoron! I have a lot of experience interacting with individuals in their personal spheres. Chairing the School Council (i.e. Parent Teacher Association) of my children's school (managing around 30 other members), interacting with parents as Registrar of a Suzuki piano program, and teaching Pilates to eight different groups each week have honed my interpersonal skills.
