Hi there! I am currently in my final semester at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I am finishing my Bachelor's Degree in Communication and minoring in Leadership Studies. When i'm not in class I am either working part-time at one of the university dining halls or fullfilling my off campus responsibilities by planning for the 2014 summer camp season. When I do have free weekends I enjoy hiking, camping, backpacking, flying stunt kites, and playing frisbee golf.
I am currently interested in starting a career as a Professional Scouter. Over the past 17 years I have been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America earning the rank of Eagle Scout in September of 2009. I am also a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow, a recipient of the Founder's Award, as well as having recieved four Eagle Mentorship pins to which I am most proud. Additionally, I will be working my seventh and final summer at Saukenauk Scout Reservation / Camp Eastman as the Program Director.
My past experiences have helped me to develope many different skills. I am strong in areas such as public speaking, planning/preparation, organization, interpersonal and organizational communication, as well as leadership.
