Kaushik Reddy Pamulaparthy is a data scientist and AI engineer based in New York City. An aspiring data journalist, he's also interested in the design and development of public information systems - a notion he picked up while studying the academic disciplines of Data Science and Computational Journalism in graduate school, and dreams of using AI & data science for social good in the real world. In his spare time, he's learning to cook, or exploring New York City by foot. Outside of work, he's most likely to be at a meetup, a concert hall or an indoor sports arena.

A past recipient of an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship in Mathematical Modeling, Kaushik graduated with an M.S in Operations Research, specializing in Financial and Managerial Applications from the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University. At Columbia, he also worked part time at the Center for Computational Learning Systems, where he helped researchers in the field of Natural Language Processing identify influential participants in online communities, such as the discussion forums of Wikipedia.

He graduated from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing where he discovered a love for long walks during his countless late night strolls within the extraordinarily beautiful campus of IIT Madras, a habit he maintains to this day.
