At present, Kaveh Ertefai is Chief Executive Officer of Activ Solar, a major international energy firm focused on the realm of renewable resources. Activ Solar concentrates on the production of solar photovoltaic energy. In this vein, the company directs and manages a global conglomerate of integrated clean energy operations with an eye toward developing an array of dependable, high-quality solar energy sources. Kaveh Ertefai established the thriving company in Vienna, Austria, in 2008.

Activ Solar operates at the cutting edge of the new energy paradigm. Concentrating on the ongoing development and improvement of efficient, cost-effective solar and clean energy technologies, the firm strives in all of its activities to meet the growing demand for new energy sources and to promote the increasing viability of solar options. Kaveh Ertefai possesses extensive upper-level management experience. Immediately prior to founding Activ Solar, he held executive positions with UBS Investment Bank, a global financial institution, based in London, New York City, and Dubai. Working from the company's London office, Mr. Ertefai focused on the realm of emerging markets, functioning as the Head of Middle East and African Debt Capital Markets. He also directed the debt capital markets in Central and Eastern Europe for UBS.

Kaveh Ertefai possesses a Bachelor of Science from New York University (NYU). He graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business with concentrations in Economics and Finance and a minor in Psychology. Mr. Ertefai also attended the London School of Economics and HEC Paris, a noted business school in France. Ultimately, he completed a TRIUM Global Executive MBA through the three institutions.
