With more than nine years experience in the Marketing and Communications industry, Kawthar Bin Sulayem, has been recognised as one of the best in her field, successfully working on future sustainability projects across Governmental and private sector platforms. Five years ago, she took her success in the industry and established KBS Communications: the boutique PR and Marketing agency of which she is currently the CEO.
KBS Communications is far from a generic agency – its vision and mission is to strengthen relationships between corporations both internationally and locally, by using its wealth of knowledge about the UAE and Arab world to provide concise, targeted and effective media communications within the region. Kawthar's success with KBS Communications is clear from the significant clients it supports.
Giving back to the community is a priority for Kawthar Bin Sulayem. This is why she established the KBS Foundation, which focuses on women and children's development, road safety, healthcare and sports. For KBS it's not just about pro bono work, but about giving back to the community through widening horizons for people across the world, giving people the opportunity to create a better future for others.
Kawthar's experience in the industry is wide-ranging and stands as testament to her professionalism. She was the Marketing and PR executive at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Establishment for Young Business Leaders and Regional Media Manager for the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Armed with this experience, she went on to become the first National Press Officer to work alongside the FIA (International Automobile Federation) in Paris; organising media support for 600 media personnel attending the biggest sporting event in the UAE.
