Kayci Nucci

Kayci Nucci is currently a Marketing Assistant for the Rochester Americans, the AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. In her current position she updates social media, helps create content, and is gaining valuable experience in digital media marketing. She also assist with promotions, media contracts, and works with all departments including sales, game presentation, and sponsorship sales.
She has earned a B.S in Marketing and a B.S in Sports Management from St. John Fisher College, where she attended on a Presidential Scholarship and received the Dean's Award all four years. While attending Fisher she acted as an Account Executive for the schools newspaper, the Cardinal Courier, selling advertising spots for the paper and reaching out to potential clients. She also participated in meetings for the Sports Management Club and the AMA chapter at Fisher.
Nucci has interned for the LPGA as their Event Management Intern at the Wegmans LPGA Championship. Over the course of the tournament she was responsible for all the special event planning on course while also assisting the the PR Manager and the Tournament Director. She also attended chairman's meetings, executed sponsorship packages, and processed ticket orders.
She has also interned for the Rochester Americans in their Ticket Sales and Services Department before moving to Marketing. While with the Sales Department she focused on Guest Services, representing the team and their Member Services Booth and interacting with the fans directly. She also gained experienced in Season Ticket Renewal and selling special promotional ticket packages. Her sales experience also includes selling fitness memberships and advertising.
Aside from the sports industry, Nucci has also worked part time at NEXT! Ad Agency during the summer of 2015 as a Marketing Intern where she focused on reputation management and SEO services. In the Summer of 2013 she also worked as the Social Media Coordinator for Jazz 90.1 during the highly profiled Xerox International Jazz Fest where she increased traffic by over 112%.
Nucci strongly believes in helping others and has donated her time to worthy organizations such as the Special Olympics and the American Heart Association. She also volunteered at the first ever Frozen Frontier put on by the Rochester Redwings and the 85th PGA hosted by Oak Hill.
Nucci currently lives in Rochester, NY and works as an Assistant Manager at a small locally owned restaurant while she finishes school. She enjoys being around family and friends, watching sports, and consuming large quantities of coffee. She hopes to one day see Europe, learn how to play the guitar, and become a good enough cook that she no longer burns toast.
