Hair Stylist in Tonawanda, NY

✨ Hi, I’m Kay! ✨

A little about me: I’m a lifelong animal lover — my pets (and even the outdoor “pet children” I care for) bring me so much joy. When I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me watching true crime documentaries, playing video games, diving into comics (yes, I’m a total nerd at heart 💕), crafting or sewing something creative, or recharging with relaxing adventures like unique experiences and hiking. I also love anything that enhances my overall sense of zen and energy — whether it’s a cozy day of self-care, exploring mindfulness practices, or simply spending time in nature.

Personality-wise, I’d describe myself as warm, caring, and intuitive. As a Pisces and INFP, I naturally see the world through a creative and empathetic lens. I’m also certified in Reiki Level 1 and plan to continue my attunements soon — energy work is something that deeply inspires me and influences how I show up, not just in life but also behind the chair. Clients often tell me they feel relaxed and at ease in my chair — like hanging out with a friend who really listens.

I actually started my journey in the beauty industry as an esthetician, but I quickly realized I was craving more of the creativity I’ve had in me my whole life. That discovery led me to hairstyling — and it turns out, as someone who is neurodivergent, beauty has become one of my special interests. It’s more than a career for me — it’s a passion, a place where I get to channel my creativity, connect with people, and help them feel like their most authentic selves.

Alongside hairstyling, I’m currently studying for my bachelor’s in business administration and marketing — a path that blends beautifully with the artistry of hair. I’m always striving to learn new techniques and explore new ideas, combining my love for beauty with a deeper understanding of how to grow and thrive in this industry.

At the end of the day, I see beauty as a form of self-expression, energy, and care — and I love being part of that journey with others.
