Kay Kenyon

Kay Kenyon possesses more than 15 years of financial services experience in positions ranging from client manager to financial advisor. Kay Kenyon earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Redlands in Redlands, California, as well as a Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego. In addition, Kay Kenyon holds the title of Certified Retirement Services Professional (CRSP) and enrolls in continuing education classes with an emphasis on employee benefits.

Kay Kenyon received a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of California, San Diego, and mediation training from the San Diego Mediation Center, which serves as the Community Services Division of the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC). Kay Kenyon currently volunteers as a Mediator for North County Lifeline, where she strives to solve small-claims disputes and unlawful detainer cases through the Vista Court House. She has also acted as a court-appointed special advocate for children who were removed from their parents’ custody. In addition, Kay Kenyon possesses experience mediating employee issues through public entities.

Passionate about helping the elderly avoid financial pitfalls, Kay Kenyon plans to start a charity to educate senior citizens about potential scams. With eight years of regional human resource management to her credit, Kay Kenyon currently targets a career transition back into the field of HR. She previously served as an exit-retirement strategist, consulting with corporate clients to plan key employee benefits, a role that provided her with invaluable HR knowledge. Kay Kenyon maintains membership in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest organization dedicated to the field, and currently takes courses in pursuit of a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the SHRM’s Human Resources Certification Institute.

Believing in the power of charity, Kay Kenyon belongs to Rotary International and Lions Clubs International. The latter organization consists of 1.35 million members from 206 countries and geographic areas around the world who volunteer at hospitals and senior centers, serving in places that have experienced natural disasters or have a largely underserved population. Kay Kenyon also has volunteered for many years with Habitat for Humanity.
