Kay Kerng is currently a Senior Financial Consultant in Prudential Assurance Company Singapore. Previously, he was the General Manager, Distribution, of Professional Investment Advisory Services Pte Ltd, an Australian Multi-National Company. He was responsible for the development of training, sales and distribution, as well as the competence and professionalism of more than 350 personnel in the organization. He was also a co-founder and director of another Financial Advisory Firm. He is a Certified Financial Planner and also holds a Bachelor of Business in Business Administration from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. He has been in financial services since 1994, and has given many public talks as well as spoken to numerous organizations like the CPF Board, Microsoft, University Alumni, and SATS. He has served the Singapore Armed Forces as an officer since his National Service, where he graduated among the top 20% of his Officer Cadet Course. He continues to contribute to society as a volunteer. He is currently the Assistant National Training Commissioner in the Singapore Scout Association, responsible for the training of teachers and volunteer adult leaders.
