A bell's resounding pitch can be used to get others' attention, bring them together, and awaken the senses. Like that bell, she uses her knowledge to impart a sense of awakening and community to her all her students. In her classroom, inklings of doubt are replaced with love and confidence.
Kayla Cherry ( née Bell), creator of Little Bell Ringer, is currently teaching young scientists in grades K-8 in Chicago, Illinois.
Over the summer, she mentors pre-service and beginning teachers and hosts ongoing conversations about their growth through the Golden Apple Foundation.
