Kayla is from Greenville, SC. Currently living in Rock Hill, South Carolina Kayla is a senior mass communication major, with a minor in theatre attending Winthrop University. At the age of 14 Kayla started acting, public speaking and directing; she knew that her voice was power and as she matured she knew it needed to be heard.

When she is not working her multiple jobs as a barista for Starbucks, being chair of a committee for student entertainment on campus, and writing articles for a newspaper at Winthrop; she is probably perfecting her makeup and binge watching Jane the Virgin.

Kayla's obsession with yellow is real. She believes in the brightness that the color holds. "if you always face the sunshine... you will never she the shadows," is her favorite quote. "Even though you do not see them you still learn from them," she says. Kayla is not afraid of much; she is a true believer in turning dreams into reality. Being afraid of your dreams and goals confirms that they are perfect for what you want in life.

Kayla is very shy, but most cannot tell. Kayla allows her goofy personality, and love for others to overpower it.
