Kayla Cameron

Hi my name is Kayla Cameron and I currently live in Hinsdale, IL. For the majority of my life I have lived in Connecticut which has allowed me at attend Parsons University in New York City and take a fashion class. Here I was able to learn many design skills that have gotten me to the place I am today. Thought the last couple years I have designed, manufactured, and sold my designs to a store as well as created a prom dress for a friend. This has allowed me to understand basic business skills such as pricing as well as what consumers like. As I entered high school, I participated in track many years, have devoted more time to my academics, as well as gained more of a passion for fashion and makeup. I have also taken on some leadership positions at school such as leading focus groups for a club called Youth Initiative. In the future, I am going to attend college to study marketing and hopefully get a minor in entrepreneurship. With my future education I hope to be able to apply it to the next level and either work for a makeup or beauty company or have my own company.
