Kayla Chavis

I am a student and musician currently living in Durham, North Carolina. My interests range from photography to music. I am also interested in singing, writing, and sports.

I am currently studying Psychology at the illustrious North Carolina Central University. I plan to continue my educational endeavors by doing research in Developmental Psychology with children in intensive neonatal care. My love for children stems from my own childhood. I was born prematurely at 2 lbs, 10 ounces and I spent most of the first couple months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I hope to learn all that I can about the development of the mind and I also hope to start my own practice in the future.
