Kayla E. Johnson

My name is Kayla Johnson, I am currently a Junior in College. I attended Howard Community College through the James Rouse Scholars Program. I recieved my AA degree in Elementary Education, with Honors. At HCC I juggled extracurricular activites, honors courses, classroom teaching, study abroad opportunities and service learning. I now attend Frostburg State University where I am continuing my education as a Elementary/Middle School Education Major (with specification in Social Studies) and a History Minor. Along with being an Honors Student I am also a student athlete. I ran Cross Country at HCC for 2 years and am now on the Bobcat Swim Team at Frostburg. After college I plan on becoming a middle school social studies teacher.
