Kayla Perdomo

I am currently a junior at Lasell College in Newton, MA. I am a Public Relations major with a minor in Event Management. Studying at a small school has given me so many incredible experiences and I have learned so much. Lasell College embraces a connected learning philosophy that allows students to get out in the real world and actually learn from doing real projects and work.

I am the Promotions Director at my school's radio station and I was the Booking Director for the past two years. I planned many events for the radio station including three concerts and a charity dinner. Being a part of Lasell College Radio has given me not only event planning experience, but also DJ experience, since I was also a DJ during my freshman year.

During my time outside of school, I work many hours at Shaw's Supermarkets as a cashier and bakery clerk. Through my job, I have learned customer service and how to work well under pressure. I have also learned how to effectively manage my time, since I work so many hours and I am still able to complete all of my school work. When I'm not working, I express my creativity through photography, explore the world, and relax by spending quality time with good friends.

I truly believe anything is possible as long as you set you're mind to it. I know exactly what I want in life, but I am also open to change. Life is what you make it, and I intend on living my life to the fullest.
