Kaylee Harrington

I am currently a public relations junior at the University of Oklahoma with a minor in sports management. I am active in my college's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and OUConnectU, a mentor program at the university.

My time here at OU has been a great one, and I've learned so much about the public relations field which has just cemented my future career path.

I am currently a Health Communications Intern at the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust. Here, I compile and distribute weekly new updates for grantees and health officials using GovDelivery, as well as create, manage, and contribute to many projects on SmartSheet. I also work collaboratively with members of other teams, such as VI Marketing and OSDH. I am currently assisting in coordinating and executing Septemberfest, a 15,000+ person event held at Governor Mary Fallon's mansion. I also am writing press releases, opinion editorials, talking points, FAQs, and backgrounders for publication and distribution.

I also have the pleasure of joining Lindsey + Asp, a premiere on-campus advertising and public relations firm, as a PR team member on both the Sooner Rewards and OU Men's Basketball accounts.

When I'm not at school or at my extracurriculars, I can be found drinking coffee with a good book. I also love cooking and traveling.
