Henry L. Doherty:
Plenty of men can do good work for a spurt and with immediate promotion in mind, but for promotion you want a man in whom good work has become a habit.

Starting out in Highschool I was a shy but independant kid, but a lot has changed since then, I've been uprooted more than a few times and had to get used to dealing with my social fears to get by in day to day life. I think what surprised me most is that it wasn't the support of my family that helped me along, it was getting up every day and going to work.

Every new job is a valuable experience for me, I've never had the same job twice, and I've never hated going to work. Changing jobs so often was certainly not intentional, but I've never regretted the experiences and knowledge I've aquired with every job, and have only just begun to realize how my different jobs have helped me grow as a person. The one thing that I've found that doesn't change no matter what job I'm at is the hard work and patience needed to learn something new. Being raised by parents who worked hard everyday to put food on the table really gave me perspective as an adult.

At a younge age I knew what I wanted to be and ever since getting out of highschool I've been working for what I want. There has always been bumps in the road setting me off course but I'm a strong enough person to get up and keep going.
